Bobbie Hohman, age 76 of Zanesville, OH died 9:21 AM, Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH.
She was born Monday, January 22, 1945, in Chillicothe, the daughter of Robert Higby and Willetta (Bryant) Gard.
Bobbie was Catholic by faith, was an avid reader, enjoyed playing games and gardening. She loved entertaining friends, loved dancing and was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by four daughters: Crystal (Josh Johnson) Henry of Zanesville, Sherry (Scott) Kendall of McConnellsville, Pamela Winland of Zanesville, and Jessica Hohman of Zanesville; one son: Robert “Bobby” (Sarah Walters) Reed of Zanesville; ten grandchildren: Randon, Jordon, Bobby, Vanessa, Bethany, Matthew, David, Renee, Mathew, and Tess; many great grandchildren; two brothers: Art Gard and Parker Higby; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend Cindy Walters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her by her husband John Hohman; two brothers: Lawrence and Robert Higby; and one sister: Opal.
Friends may call from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with Fr. Martin Ralko officiating. Burial will conclude in the Zanesville Memorial Park.
